Off-plan buying can save you millions or cost you years. The difference is almost always the developer.
Off-plan pricing is attractive for a reason: you are taking on delivery risk in exchange for a discount. Whether that trade is worth it depends almost entirely on who is building.
## What to verify before committing The developer's completed projects, visited in person. Approved architectural and structural plans. A project bank account and a clear payment schedule. Contractual penalties for late delivery.
## When a ready home is the better buy If you are financing through a mortgage, moving on a fixed timeline, or buying your first home, a completed property removes almost all of the risk for a modest premium.
## Our position We list both. What we will not do is present an off-plan project without the approvals to back it up.
